1. Chinese Government Scholarship

The Chinese Government Scholarship covers various categories including undergraduate, master's, doctoral, Chinese language, general studies, and advanced studies. Applicants should submit their  applications to the relevant departments in their home countries or the Chinese embassy/consulate in their countries within the specified  time. The application period is usually from November each year to April of the following year. For more specific information, please consult   the  relevant departments in your home country. 2. International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

The category of scholarship includes Scholarship for Master's Degree in International Chinese Language Education, Scholarship for  Bachelor's Degree in International Chinese Language Education, One-year Chinese Language study, and One-semester Chinese    Language study. The application deadline is May 15th (for September enrollment) and October 31st (for March enrollment).

3. Hainan Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students

Hainan Provincial Government Scholarship for International  Students covers various categories including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. Applicants should submit their applications to the Admissions Office of the School of International Education, Hainan Normal University, within the specified time. The application period is usually from early January to early April of each year.

4. Hainan Overseas Chinese Language and Culture Education Scholarship

Hainan Overseas Chinese Language and Culture Education Scholarship is mainly for outstanding overseas Chinese students who come to Hainan for one semester or one year of intensive Chinese language study. Applicants should submit their applications to the Admissions Office of the School of International Education, Hainan Normal University, within the specified time. There are two application periods each year: early March to early May and early September to early December. The enrollment time is usually in March or September. 

Convenient transportation

Hainan Province has three airports, including Haikou Meilan International Airport, Qionghai Boao Airport, and Sanya Phoenix International Airport, with 440 international and domestic routes in operation. Haikou has now established a cross-sea railway and a circum-island high-speed rail. Haikou is adjacent to Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangzhou, with flight times of just 50 minutes to all three destinations.
